Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MineCo Guard, operated by MineCo Studios, processes information when the bot and its web dashboard are used.

1. Information MineCo Guard may process

Depending on which features are enabled by a Discord server administrator, MineCo Guard may process:

• Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, roles and server membership information.
• Discord server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs and server configuration.
• Moderation records such as warnings, cases, notes, timeouts and automated protection events.
• Community feature data such as XP, levels, MineCoins, achievements, quests, game progress, birthdays and birthday privacy preferences.
• Creator alert configuration, including connected platform, creator display name, destination Discord channel and notification role.
• For TikTok accounts that explicitly authorise MineCo Guard, OAuth access information and the account/video information necessary to provide creator alerts.

2. TikTok data

MineCo Guard does not connect a TikTok account without the account holder's permission. When a creator authorises MineCo Guard through TikTok, the service may request permissions needed to identify the authorised account and read its recent public videos for creator notifications.

TikTok data is used only to provide the connected creator-alert feature. MineCo Guard does not use TikTok authorisation to publish videos, edit an account, or perform unrelated activity unless a separate feature and permission is explicitly introduced and authorised.

3. How information is used

Information is used to operate configured Discord features, maintain persistent settings, provide moderation and progression tools, detect or announce configured events, and send creator notifications.

4. Storage and retention

MineCo Guard stores server configuration and feature data in persistent application storage so settings survive restarts and updates. Administrators can remove or reset supported records through the bot or dashboard. Data may also be deleted when a server stops using MineCo Guard or when deletion is requested and can be reasonably identified.

5. Sharing

MineCo Guard does not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted to Discord, TikTok, or another integrated service only when necessary to provide a feature requested or authorised by the user or server administrator.

6. Security

Administrative features are protected and sensitive credentials are not intended to be displayed publicly. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable measures are used to limit access to stored configuration and connected-account credentials.

7. User choices

Users can choose whether certain optional profile information, such as birthday age visibility, is public within configured Discord features. Connected creator accounts can revoke access through the relevant platform and/or by removing the integration from MineCo Guard.

8. Children's privacy

MineCo Guard is intended for Discord communities and is not designed to knowingly collect information from children outside the information already made available through the connected Discord or platform account and the community features they choose to use.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as MineCo Guard changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
