Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of MineCo Guard, a Discord community management bot operated by MineCo Studios.

1. Using MineCo Guard

You may use MineCo Guard only in accordance with applicable law, Discord's terms and policies, and the rules of any connected third-party platform. Server owners and administrators are responsible for how they configure moderation, rewards, notifications and other features in their own communities.

2. Connected accounts

Some features require a user to connect or authorise an external account. A connected account must belong to, or be legitimately controlled by, the person granting access. You must not attempt to connect another person's account without permission.

3. TikTok creator alerts

MineCo Guard may allow an authorised TikTok creator to connect their account so the bot can identify recent public videos and send configured Discord notifications. Access is limited to the permissions granted during TikTok authorisation. MineCo Guard does not claim ownership of any creator content.

4. Community and moderation features

Automated moderation, warnings, timeouts, role assignment, rewards and similar actions depend on server configuration and platform permissions. Administrators should review their settings and are responsible for decisions made using the bot's administrative tools.

5. Availability

MineCo Guard is provided on an as-available basis. Features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable because of software updates, hosting issues, Discord changes, third-party API changes or platform restrictions.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use MineCo Guard to abuse platform APIs, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, unlawfully collect data, send prohibited spam, or intentionally disrupt Discord, TikTok, MineCo Guard or another service.

7. Third-party services

MineCo Guard integrates with third-party services such as Discord and, when authorised, TikTok. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. MineCo Studios does not control their availability or policies.

8. Termination and removal

A server administrator may stop using MineCo Guard by removing the bot. Connected-account access may also be revoked through the relevant third-party platform. MineCo Studios may restrict access when necessary to protect the service, comply with platform rules, or address abuse.

9. Disclaimer

MineCo Guard is provided without guarantees that every alert, moderation event or integration will be uninterrupted or error-free. Administrators should not rely on the bot as the sole method for critical moderation, safety or compliance decisions.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date shown above will be updated when the terms are revised.
